State Bank of India Recruitment 2014 Details for Assistant VP (Media) Post
The SBI (State Bank of India) has
invited recently the online applications for the recruitment of the
eligible candidates in the post of Assistant Vice President (Media)
posts through the Case Study/ GD/ Interview respectively held on the
dates as specified for this purpose. The interested candidates can go

released officially at the website of the Bank as on 3rd
March 2014 with reference to the Advt. No. CRPD/ SCO /2013-14/ 15. The
candidates selected will be appointed on a three year contract at the

The candidates should have a full time
degree in either of the following: Master of Journalism /Mass
Communication/ Advertising or Master of Business Administration in Mass
Communication/ Advertising /Marketing from any UGC recognized Institute

the job that possess a working experience of at least 5 years in any
reputed organization/ public sector undertaking/ public sector banks/
financial institution in the concerned field.
Age Boundation:

Manner of Selection:
The applicants will be selected on a
contract of a maximum period of three years which is extendable subject
to their performances in the concerned period.

The State
Bank of India conducts every year the recruitment exam for the selection
of eligible candidates in the posts of Clerks and Probationary Officers
respectively through written exam and interview. This exam is one of

State Bank of India 2014 Recruitment Exam Details:
The State
Bank of India announces the recruitment of candidates in the post of
Clerks and Probationary Officers through an official notification
released every year in the months of February for PO and
September/October for Clerical Vacancies on its website online or the

of the Bank for getting any latest news on the exam.
The State
Bank of India is the only public sector bank in India which conducts its
Probationary Clerks/ MT Recruitment Exam separately. For the rest of
the Banks, the candidates need to appear in the IBPS Common Written
Exam.
Eligibility for the Recruitment:
For Clerk
Post: The applicants should be Intermediate/ Class 12th/ SSLC passed
with a first class marks (5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PWD/XS)
or should have a Diploma course passed from any State Board of Technical
Education equivalent to it for this purpose.
For PO
Post: The applicant should be graduate from any recognized university/
college/ institute or anything equivalent to it with a minimum 60% of
marks as specified for this purpose.
Age Limit:
For Clerks Post: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 28 Years
For Probationary Officers: Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 30 Years
Selection Criteria:
There will
be written exam and interview conducted for all the applicants applying
to the SBI Recruitment. The dates of exam will be announced by the SBI
on the website of the Bank i.e. sbi.co.in.
Pattern of Exam:
The
written exam for SBI Clerks will be based on the objective type and
multiple choice based questions on the following main topics:
1. General Knowledge
2. General English
3. Quantitative Aptitude
4. Reasoning Ability
5. Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge
The
written exam for SBI PO is based on the objective type questions on the
following Topics. There will be two papers one objective type (200
marks) and the other descriptive type (50 marks) respectively.
1. English Language
2. General Awareness, Marketing and Computers
3. Data Analysis and Interpretation
4. Reasoning
The candidates are required to pass in each section for cracking the exam.

SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment Notification & Job Details
The State
Bank of India offers recruitment under the Specialist Officers for 21
different job posts online at the website of the Bank. The applicants
who wish to apply in the concerned job posts should be having the
necessary eligibility conditions subject to the post for which
application has been made. The posts offered under the Specialists
Officer post will be placed in the following Grade Scales: Junior
Management, Middle Management and Senior Management scales respectively.
There is a vacancy of 393 positions for the applicants who wish to work

Manner of Selection:
The
candidates shall be selected on the basis of the written exam conducted
for all the eligible candidates on 19th April 2014. This will be
followed by the Interview/ Personality Test held for only those
applicants who have been shortlisted in the written exam held on 19th
April 2014.
Eligibility for Exam:
The
applicants should be either of the following: CA, MA (Economics), MCA,
BE/B.Tech, M.Sc., M.Phil/PhD respectively as per the post for which the
application has been made.
